These terms cover your use of the Tagalong app. By using Tagalong you agree to them. If you downloaded Tagalong from the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Your account
You need an account to use Tagalong. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and let us know if you think someone else has accessed your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app.
Tagalong Pro
- Tagalong is free for one trip. Tagalong Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription.
- Pro is $5.99 per month or $29.99 per year (US prices; prices in other regions are shown in the app before you buy).
- Pro includes unlimited trips, the Ask Tagalong AI assistant, AI ideas with ticket and reservation tips, group trips with friends and offline access to your plans.
- Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Your content
You own what you add to Tagalong. You give us permission to store it and show it to the members of the trip you added it to, so the app can work. Trip members can see what you add, so only invite people you trust.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Tagalong to:
- post anything illegal, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit;
- share someone else’s private information without their permission;
- try to access trips or accounts that aren’t yours, or disrupt the service.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
AI suggestions, weather and rates
Itinerary ideas, ticket and reservation tips and Ask Tagalong’s answers are generated by AI, and weather, time-zone and currency information comes from third-party services. They’re there to help you plan, but they can be wrong or out of date. Check opening hours, bookings, travel rules and prices before you rely on them.
Expenses
The bill split is a calculator to help your group settle up. Tagalong doesn’t move money, and any payment between members is up to you.
The service
We work to keep Tagalong running and your data safe, but the app is provided “as is”, without warranties, to the extent the law allows. We aren’t liable for indirect losses, such as a missed booking, arising from your use of the app. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.
